One of the things that irritates me the most, is when “eco”, “sustainable”, “environmentally-friendly” products are marketed as good for the world and fail to meet the standard we picky consumers are used to. Many of my friends have heard me go on and on about how you can’t just put eco-friendly toilet paper on supermarket shelves, when the paper turns out to be hard, full of holes and simply not fit for modern consumers! My irriation has to do with the fact that people who are not really ‘in to’ being all that sustainable will once again find a reason for not buying sustainable products. Because trust me, they will be unhappy with their stupid eco-friendly toilet paper once, but refuse to buy any organic or socially-responsible products for years… A lot of damage can be done, thus!
But to turn this thing around, it really makes me extremely happy when I find good design, good quality products which are also sustainable. That’s the perfect world, if you ask me! And I’ve just found a webshop for home decoration which meets and almost exceeds my expectations: this is a place where you browse around and want to add all the products in your shopping cart!
